Wisdom in the Koran

In some of the Koranic verses, the value of wisdom is mentioned:
 

The Koran invites people to reflect upon the universe, creation,
1. The worst animals before God are the deaf and dumb, those who do not use their reason. (8:22)

2. He places a blight on those who do not use their reason (wisdom) (10:100)
 

The role of intellect in cause and effect in the universe
1.  he has [angels] checking from both before  him and behind him, they guard him at Gods  command God does not change what any people may have until they change whatever they  themselves have.( 13:11)
2. How many towns have we wiped out –while they were doing wrong? Their rafters have fallen in, their wells have been abandoned, and [many an] impressive place as well. Have they not travelled around the Earth so they may acquire heats to reason with or ears to listen with? (22:45-46)

 

Religious commandments
1. Prayer restrains one from sexual misconduct and debauchery. (29:45)
2. You who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you just as it was prescribed for those before you so that may do your duty. (2:183)

 

Mistakes made by reason
1. If you obeyed most of those who are on earth, they would lead you astray from Gods path, they only follow conjecture and are merely questing. (6:116)
2. Do not worry over something you have no knowledge about. (17:36)
3. Whenever someone tells them: “follow what God has sent down,” they say: “Rather we will follow what we discovered our forefathers were doing,” ever thought their fore fathers did not use their reason in any were they guided. (2:170)
