The Rules of Prayer

This book is another work of Allameh Majlisi, in Persian, on ablution, prayer and some other religious issues and also the principles and beliefs of the Twelver Shia; in brief. The master point of the book is the translation of the words and commentary of the suras (the Quranic chapters), Hamd (The Opening), Tawhid (Sincerity), Qadr (Power).
Allameh explains the aspects of the Quran’s miracle, as following:
1- from the aspect of eloquence which is in the highest level
####2- from the aspect of arrangement and style which had been never heard before
3- from the aspect of proficiency in all the sciences
4- any books and stories can not be read and heard much, because they will be boring, but the Quran is not so.
5- There are some news about the future in the Quran which all happened
6- It acts as the faith healing for all the points
Then it is written about the other miracles of the prophet and talks about the twelve Shia Imams, about the hell and heaven, the rewards of the deeds and the resurrection.

The author
Allameh Muhammad Baqer Majlisi was an authoritative jurist, a most prolific collector of traditions (Hadiths), and an unprecedentedly influential author of the Twelver Shia (1627 – 1698). Under the Safavid Shah Hossein I, he was practically the actual ruler of Iran. His father Muhammad Taqi Majlisi was a famous scholar as well.
Allameh Majlisi studied under his father and other great masters: Mullah Muhammad Saleh Mazandarani, Mirza Rafu’ al-Din Tabatabaee, Mullah Hossein Ali Shushtari, Sheikh Abdullah Aameli, Mullah Mohsen Feyz Kashani and Seyyed Mirza Jazayeri.

On the greatness of prayer

corporeal
resurrection
the religious edicts on menstruation, ablution
the rules for starting prayer, the commentary of the sura Hamd (The Opening)
is not Islam a significant path?
The translation of the sura Qadr (Power)
The commentary of the sura Tawhid (Sincerity)
The rules of genuflection (one of the stages of prayer)
The rules of prostration (one of the stages of prayer), etc.

In the end of the book there is also the author’s treatis “Force and Freewill”
